The diary game || Better life with steem|| a day at Hill area

Hello friends,

We left the city early on Saturday morning. The road to Devprayag was winding, with green hills on both sides. As we drove, the air became cooler and fresher. We arrived in the small town just after noon, tired but excited.

Devprayag is famous because it is the place where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to become the holy Ganges. The two rivers flow side by side, their waters sparkling in the sunlight. We walked to the famous bridge and stood on it, watching the water swirl together. The sound of the river was loud and powerful, yet somehow calm.

We stayed in a simple guest house near the river. The rooms were clean, and the host gave us fresh tea with ginger and lemon. After lunch, we explored the nearby temples. The ancient stone shrine of Raghunath was quiet, with a small crowd of pilgrims offering prayers. The scent of incense filled the air.

In the evening, we sat on the ghats and watched the sunset. The sky turned orange and pink, and the river reflected the colors like a mirror. We tried local snacks: roasted corn and a sweet called “petha” made from pumpkin. The food was warm and tasty.

On Sunday morning we took a short trek up a hill trail that offered a view of the whole valley. From the top we could see the two rivers merging, surrounded by misty mountains. It felt like standing in a painting.

Our weekend in Devprayag was short, but it left a big impression. The peaceful river, the simple people and the beautiful scenery reminded us how important it is to pause and enjoy nature. We left feeling calm, grateful, and already planning our next visit.

We will return soon to feel its magic again.
