RE: The Mystery Of The Anasazi Has Been Solved(They Think).
Howdy again bossel! oh, that is very interesting, what kind of work did you do in China? That means you speak the language which I've always heard is the hardest to learn of any language.
Hi!
I worked as a teacher, first English, later German.
& nope, I don't speak Chinese. Tried to learn it, but I can't cope with the tones. So, when I had to speak that was mostly one sentence: Don't understand. (Ting bu dong.)
Chinese as such is actually very simple. But if you're as unmusical as I am, it's impossible to learn.
Howdy again sir bossel! oh wow, I knew that they had different meanings for different tones but I didn't realize that you had to be musical. I'd never get it either because I'm tone deaf.
well that is very impressive. How many languages do you speak?
Hi!
Well, I at least could never get the hang of the tones. Maybe I'm just too stupid.
Languages? Only 3 fluently: German, Dutch, English
Learned French at middle school, but forgot most of it. Didn't bother to learn Greek, since I quickly decided that I would move away again as soon as possible. Greece is too expensive.
Oh, only three languages! lol. that's amazing to me. I wish they would teach us more than one language here in America. Greece is expensive because they are trying to raise money to pay off their debt?
3 languages are standard in most of Europe, though fluency varies. So, I'm pretty much average.
Not sure, why Greece is so expensive. Part of it is probably due to high taxes, but from what I've read, the supermarkets here also take advantage of the situation. Greek products here are often more expensive than Greek exports sold in Germany.
Howdy again sir bossel! That's very interesting about the Greek supermarkets, that's not right!
