The Oba contributed to the Baptist Church growth was complimented in later years by prominent Binis like late Chief R.A Edigin and late Mr. P.O Idehen alias "Burma Star" a veteran of the 2nd world war who faclitated the acquisition of the vast expanse of land that now host the mission house, school and college of theology at Oliha Qurters.
This was followed up by other prominent Binis in later years like Agidigbi Uwagboe, Dr. Iyayi Effionayi and Sir. Chief G.O Igbinedion who immense contribution till date unquantifiable.
The seed of Christianity sowed in 1902 by Rev. James Johnson a.k.a Holy Johnson of the Anglican faith and watered by Oba Eweka and Rev Emokpae in the 1920's has grown to become an Oak tree as evident from the diversity of Christians sects in the kingdom.
For record purposes Rev. Obidiah Odiase Emokpae who was the first Binin Christian priest died on the 9th of march 1939
