Kemaro island located at south sumatera exactly palembang, indonesia. Kemaro island in the middle of musi's river have mythical love tree. It was said that who written his name and his couple at the tree will have a true love. To reach there you can rent a boat with price about 30 -50 thousand rupiah and take the journey about 45 minutes.

The legend of kemaro island is story about a princess named siti fatimah and chinese merchants named tan bun an. Once upon a time siti fatimah and tan bun an came back from the parent's home of tan bun an at tiongkok, china. After they arrived on the coast of river they shocked. Seven jars gift from his parents only contains of vegetables. Without thinking tan bun an even kicked the jars to the river. But the last jar was broken on the deck of the ship and the bottom of the jar there was gold. Then tan bun an jumped to the river to search the jars which he had kicked to collect the gold. But tan bun an has not appear onthe surface. Seeing that, siti fatimah also jumped to the river to search he lover. But they never appear on the surface.

The land appeared like island where they jumped. Which is named kemaro island. The legend is listed at the Hok Tjiang Rio Tempel. Siti fatimah whi jumped to the river to found tan bun an was believed to be a symbol of true love. Based on the legend, there is a myth of a love tree located in the middle of kemaro island. If their names and couples are write there, their love will last forever like love of siti fatimah and tan bun an. And one more thing must we remember don't say carelessly because karma will come immediately.

Until now kemaro island became one of the destnation pilgrimage at cheng beng. Cheng beng is grave pilgrimage fot he chinese.
