"CASTELL COCH" (English translation - Red castle) is a small 12c castle about 5 miles from Cardiff.

We are blessed with some great castles here in Wales. Those bloody English always trying to suppress us, so needed a lot of them to keep control 😂😂
I didn't know that Welsh had some Latin words. Ffenestri is the same as finestra in Italian and fenetre in French.
Welsh is one of the oldest languages in Europe so I'm sure it picked up a few cross-word along the way. Thanks for that interesting little fact, I did not know that.
