If you have no avatar, you're a lot less memorable! It is very important!

    I was on the list a week ago. I have an avatar but it wouldn't show up. No idea why!

    Agreed! You really want...no, need an Avatar. It's what helps you stand out when people are scanning through their followers and new post etc.
