India vs South Africa 1st T20 Preview
Hello, good evening, and welcome to my page, once again T20 contest is back in India as, after IPL, IND will be going to play T20 series against SA, and today is the first match in Delhi. It will be great to see both teams' players play together in their respective franchises in IPL, but now they will play against each other and most importantly they will play for their nation, so without making delay let's discuss a preview of this match.
This SA team was not good before 2 years but since the last T20 World Cup, they come out so well and nice team, and they are most favorite to win this first match compared to both teams.SA has one advantage is that most of the players played IPL recently last month, and they are in good form, so they will play in another venue, but they know now condition well and are comfortable with them.
If I am not wrong then they are very consistent as well as it's the same squad as last T20 world or can say maybe 1-2 players different. SA is full strength with a bat, bowl, and all-rounder, so they look a much more balanced and the strong lineup this time. Most of them have good experience of playing cricket in last 2 months here which help them to play good cricket and also know weakness and strength of opponent.
India has some injury issues with KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav which is a big loss for them especially Rahul who is a pillar of this team. Other big players like Rohit Sharma, Kohli, and Bumrah who already rested for this series, so it will be a big challenge for new players. Rishabh Pant will be captain for India for this series because Rahul not playing now. Due to these injuries, the balance of the team little shook.
It looks like lots of inexperienced players in the squad, although they performed well, IPL and International are a different things. Look Like They will experiment with all players as they have a big squad so sure each player will get an opportunity to play, and it's a big stage for them too to perform at the international level as don't know will they get a chance or not.
Player to watch
Rassie Ven Der Dussen
He is such a talented player who didn't get many chances in IPL, but he will be key for SA in the middle order where he can build up inning as well as he can play spin well, so it's a good plus point for them. His recent form is superb and played a crucial role for SA in past many years.
Aiden Markram
Markram now becomes an important part of SA in the middle order as he can accelerate inning as well as rotate strikes so nicely and thus everyone like him as a good middle-order player. He is good at fielding as well as can bowl part-time too so can play a major role too.
Tabraiz Shamsi
Samshi is one of the leading wicket-taker in T20 cricket but has not picked up in IPL. He improved a lot and on the spinning track, he will be very useful for SA. His recent record is so good that wicket-taking and economical spells.
Ruturaj Gaikwad
It will be a good opportunity for Ruturaj because he is a good batter and very talented even though not have much experience on an international level but we have already seen what he can do.
Hardik Pandya
It will be a big opportunity for Pandya to regain his place for India as all starts are not playing so it will be a big responsibility for him just like what he did in IPL. He is in tremendous form in IPL with bat and bowl which he would like to continue.
Umran Malik
Umran Malik is very impressed with his bowling, especially with speed. He also took wickets this season and good yorker bowled. He is one of the finds of IPL this year and let's hope he gets the opportunity for him.
The match will be playing in Delhi which is a good batting pitch and due may come so both teams will look to bowl first. South Africa is looking complete team and is also the favorite to win this match. India will be looking to take advantage of its home condition so it will be a good contest between this team.
