Hello, Good Evening and welcome to my page, It was nice first game and we all expecting same with 2nd T20. This match will be play tonight at Cuttack which looks not high scoring ground but let hope curator has changed its pitch, and we will get another run feast just like first match. South Africa did well as expected in first match, and thus they will more confident in 2nd match where they would like to take lean in series. Besides it, India would like to correct their mistakes and try to win the match to level the series.
Barabati Stadium, Cuttack
On this venue last T20 played before 5 years in 2017 and one in 2015 so total only 2 T20 played here. In both game there were 2 low scores as in 2015 India all out on 92 against South Africa and in 2017 Sri Lanka all out on 87 while chasing 181 against India. This score shows this will be slow pitch and thus spinner will be play crucial role here. There were no match here in last 5 years so let hope pitch changed, but record shows here is that it may not be high scoring game.
South Africa's Confidence on High
South Africa played good cricket in recent time, especially T20, where they showed their class. First T20 where once again their main player Van Der Dussen and Miller played important inning which help them to won that match. Due to this first game win, in 2nd match where they can play with more positively, and thus it will boost their confidence more. IPL experience also helping South African player where before they were struggling to play spin, but recently they are playing so well spin too, so it's good sign for them too.
India looking for Bounce Back
India played well in first inning as they were able to score big even without that main player but due to bowling issue they were not able to restrict opponent, and thus they will be more focus on bowling in second match. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is not in from since long time but still he always gets spot in playing 11 so here they will look to give chance to Umran Malik which likely to get place tonight. They would like to improve in bowling and will look to win this match and bounce back in this series.
Player to Watch
Rassie Van Der Dussen
Once again he will be a key player as he played so well in T20 as well as good player of spin. Though he took time, but he knows how to recover an inning as well as take the match to the end. He is the best player in middle order who keep rotating strike, so on this turning track he will be a key player for South Africa.
Qinton De Kock
De Kock loves to play against India and thus his record is good against India as average of 50+ with strike rate of 142 before this series. Recently he also improved against spin, and he likes to play big shots so will be one of the player to watch who single-handedly turn the match towards the team.
Keshav Maharaj
maharaj is a very underrated bowler, but he bowls so nice with his good length and variation. He is not a big turner of the ball, but if little spin in the pitch, then he also very effective because of his length and variation. He can also bat at lower order, so will be effective in slow pitches.
Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan is well deserve to play for India as his recent form is tremendous and also scored runs in first T20 where batting is difficult in first 4-5 overs. He has ability to play long inning and loves to play against spin where like to hit sixes towards leg sides. Kishan would like to continue his form in 2nd T20 too.
Shreyas Iyer
Iyer is also in good form as he was out in last match after 3 innings, so it shows he is in dream form. Iyer did good start in last match as loves to play shots against spinner with strike rate of more than 200. In middle order role, he is like to play against South African spinner who are not good turner of the balls, so it will see how they bowl him.
Yuzvendra Chahal
Chahal is the big trump card for India as he is wicket taker or can say game changer of the match who not able to perform in last match but on this venue he would like to ball as last time while he played here against Sri Lanka then he took 4 wickets, and he will be key player if there is turn in pitch as well as slow too.
We hope we get to see good contest tonight too and let hope there will good pitch with bat and bowl as not played since 5 years so don't know how pitch will behave. Captain will definitely like to bowl first here too as it's said due will come in second inning.
