South Africa women vs England Women only test match ended in draw due to rain | Club100
Hello,good evening and welcome to my page, it's time time discuss about women cricket because it's also important and intresting to see along with men circket. Recently one and only test match was played between England and South Africa women which had no results unfortunately due to rain interuption. It was intresting match as really enjoyed it so let discuss it in details.
Women's cricket has improved a lot recently in white ball cricket and we all want to see them in red ball cricket or can say longest format of cricket as they also can able to perform in that era too. Recently England and South Africa match was so intresting but it not able to complete because of rain which ended in draw. Both team played lovely cricket as both fighting for their team.
It end with disappointed as England team captain Heather Knight also said that it's little unfair as Women's cricket test match is only of 4 days where almost one day waste in rain so it's difficult for the team who are giving best to win the match but weather and format not helpful. She also said its second time as they faced this kind of issue so she not happy with results which could in their favour.
I am glad i able to watch it live as most of women's match not telecasted in india unless its india match or world cup match. I enjoyed Kapp batting who is number one all rounder of world cricket and she batted so nice in first inning where she scored 150 from 284 which is total of whole team so can say she played game changer or saviour inning for South Africa.
England also in same condition like South Africa at one stage where they lost 5 wickets around 120 runs but then Nat Sciver and Alice Richards made crucial partnership where both socred hundred and able to took their team total to 417 which was huge one and seen South Africa in trouble. South Africa lost good opportunity to take lead but it's work revers as England got huge lead.
In second innings, South Africa not start well as they lost early wicket but only thing went in their favour is weather because rain was on and off at 3rd day of test match. South Africa were 55/3 at end of day 3 as not much circket in last session. On 4th day morning, South Africa lose Luss captain early but then Lee and night watchmen control the inning.
In between it rain was coming and going and didn't get to see much circket on 4th day which was unfortunately last day of test match. Match was going so nicely as sometimes looks South Africa ahead and sometimes looks England so can't say much which team will ahead as also while fourth day finished, England was ahead but it's a game so can't say till the end as may someone play good inning who change match result.
There are lots of questions comes in mind as recently England played some test cricket like 1-2 but Sout Africa were played after 7-8 years which is long gap. Women's cricket improved a lot and people also love to enjoy it so it's good they get more opportunities to play test matches like men. Also need to look out as give 5 days in test match as they are capable to play 5 days continuously. What do you say about it as waiting for reply. That's it from today and stay tuned for next post.
