    Whilst the use of statistical data is obviously permitted, the use of entire paragraphs is not.

    For example;

    During the 1887 season, bases on balls were counted as hits and Anson walked 60 times. In an effort to "clean up history" a committee changed the rules of that particular season (and others) thus revoking Anson from the club. The rules were restored to their original format in 2001, and Anson is once again a member of the club he started.

    This is not statistical data. It is a direct translation from the source I have highlighted.
