Dear friends of Wox Sports,

The month of August was a kind of trial run for the whole WOX Sports team. We launched several contests, tried out new things and attempted to involve as many users as possible. However, this period of experimentation is coming to an end and from September onwards we intend to serve all users a precise and well-defined programme of what activities will be scheduled for the month.

What's new

Resetting of badges 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

Starting on 1 September, all badges earned in the month of August will be reset to zero, so that all users can restart on a equal level. This process will be repeated monthly, at the end of the month. However, some badges will remain constantly alive:

👤 Family users, awarded to those who regularly participate in community activities with posts, comments, or by competing in contests;
💎 Delegators, awarded to those who have an active delegation to the official community curator account, @sportscurator01;
🏃 Trail joiners, assigned to those who have joined the @sportscurator01 trail at worldofxpilar.com.

Badges Awarding Rules 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

To obtain the following badges, users must be regularly registered in the WOX Sports community:

🏆 Contest Winner, awarded to the winners of each contest posted by WOX Sports Team members;
🥈 Silver medal, awarded to the runner-up of every contest published by WOX Sports Team members with at least eight participants. Always awarded in VIP contests, regardless of the number of participants;
🥉 Bronze Medal, awarded to the third place winner of every contest published by WOX Sports Team members who has reached at least eight participants. Always awarded in VIP Contests, regardless of the number of participants;
💬 Top commenter, awarded to the person who regularly comments on posts written within the community;
🚀 Powers-Up, awarded to those who participate, doing Power-Up, in The Power Up contest.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION 🥋

Starting in September, the user with the best results in the previous month will obtain, as in combat sports, the title of World Heavyweight Champion and a special badge next to his username (🥋), to be carried until the end of the month. He will also be invited to participate in all VIP contests in the community.

Be careful, because being a sports community it is expected that the champion's title can also be up for grabs:

Any user who has achieved at least three successes in official community contests during the month can challenge the World Heavyweight Champion by communicating this through a post. The champion will be able to accept or refuse the challenge, but, hey, we're a sports community, nobody would refuse, right?
In the event of an accepted challenge, the WOX Sports Team will prepare a special contest for the two contenders, the theme of which will be chosen by the reigning champion. The winner will be proclaimed World Heavyweight Champion and, in the event of the challenger's victory, the Title will pass to him/her, until the regular end of the month, when the title will change hands in the way planned.
If the World Heavyweight Champion does not participate in the contests proposed by the communty by the 15th day of each month, the title will be declared vacant and possibly awarded through a tournament among the most deserving users.

SEPTEMBER'S CONTESTS

WOX Sports Predictors - Every Monday there will be a new round of the contest based on predictions, awarding a weekly prize of 5 Steem, sponsored by the @frafiomatale account, plus a final prize based on the prize money collected.
The Power Up contest - Every Tuesday the WOX Sports Team will award a Steem prize to the user who has scored the most points in the Power Up contest.
Best Article of the week - Every Wednesday, the WOX Sports Team will award a Steem prize to the user who has made the best post of the week. The post in question will then become part of the WOX Sports Hall of Fame, which is listed at the bottom of the contest along with the name and winning articles from past weeks.
VIP Contest - At least two Thursdays of the month, the WOX Sports Team will set up a special contest to which only delegators members 💎, trail joiners 🏃 and the World Heavyweight Champion 🥋 will be invited to participate. The contest may include a Steem prize or other alternative forms of reward. In some cases, Powers Up 🚀 and Top Commenters may also be called upon to participate: the team's idea is to make VIP contests also more important in terms of the amount of prizes awarded than contests open to everyone.
Delegate to WOX Sports contest - Every Friday @frafiomatale, one of the admins of the WOX Sports community, will give away a 1000 SP delegation to the user who has delegated, with the intention of keeping it in the medium term, the highest amount of his own SP to the official community curator account @sportscurator01. In case of lack of participants in the contest, the delegation will remain active for a further week to the last awarded user.
N.B.: Admins, moderators and users of WOX Sports can publish their own contests at any time, providing for self-funding of the prizes. If resources are available, the WOX Sports Team may choose to support some of these contests. Contests considered valid for the awarding of badges 🏆🥈🥉 by the WOX Sports Team will be marked with a special notice in the comments.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Saturday Learning - Subject to available free time, every Saturday the Wox Sports Team will publish a post of public utility for the users of the community. In order to facilitate the consultation of previous posts, a special landing page will be created, pinned and always available among the first community posts.
Sunday results - Sunday will be dedicated to the publication of the results, with related prize-giving and ranking, of the community's main contest, but may also occasionally host last-minute initiatives or announcements.
Next month's summary and news - Near the end of the month, the WOX Sports Team will publish a post anticipating the next month's news and contests.
Best sports posts on the platform - Once a week, a list of the best sports posts written within the entire Steemit platform will be compiled. The nomination will thus serve to give visibility to the community and encourage the best authors to join Wox Sports.

El mes de agosto ha sido una especie de rodaje para todo el equipo de WOX Sports. Lanzamos varios concursos, probamos cosas nuevas e intentamos hacer participar al mayor número de usuarios posible. Sin embargo, este periodo de experimentación está llegando a su fin y a partir de septiembre tenemos la intención de servir a todos los usuarios un programa preciso y bien definido de las actividades previstas para ese mes.

Qué hay de nuevo

Reset de insignias 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

A partir del 1 de septiembre, todas las insignias obtenidas en el mes de agosto se pondrán a cero, para que todos los usuarios puedan volver a empezar en igualdad de condiciones. Este proceso se repetirá todos los meses a final de mes. Sin embargo, algunas insignias permanecerán constantemente vivas:

👤 Usuarios familiares, otorgado a quienes participan regularmente en las actividades de la comunidad con publicaciones, comentarios o compitiendo en concursos;
💎 Delegadores, otorgado a quienes tienen una delegación activa hacia la cuenta oficial del curador de la comunidad, @sportscurator01;
🏃 Suscriptores del trail, asignados a quienes se han unido al trail @sportscurator01 en worldofxpilar.com.

Método de asignación de insignias 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

Para obtener las siguientes insignias, los usuarios deben estar registrados regularmente en la comunidad WOX Sports:

🏆 Ganador del concurso, otorgado a los ganadores de cada concurso publicado por los miembros del equipo de WOX Sports;
🥈 Medalla de plata, otorgada al subcampeón de cada concurso publicado por los miembros del equipo WOX Sports con al menos ocho participantes. Siempre se concede en los concursos VIP, independientemente del número de participantes;
🥉 Medalla de Bronce, otorgada al tercer lugar de cada concurso publicado por los miembros del equipo de WOX Sports que haya alcanzado al menos ocho participantes. Siempre se otorga en los Concursos VIP, independientemente del número de participantes;
💬 Top commenter, otorgado a la persona que comenta regularmente los posts escritos dentro de la comunidad;
🚀 Powers-Up, que se otorga a los que participan, haciendo Power-Up, en El Power Up Contest.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION 🥋

A partir de septiembre, el usuario con los mejores resultados en el mes anterior obtendrá, como en los deportes de combate, el título de Campeón del Mundo de los Pesos Pesados y una insignia especial junto a su nombre de usuario (🥋), que deberá llevar hasta el final del mes. También será invitado a participar en todos los concursos VIP de la comunidad.

Pero cuidado, porque al ser una comunidad deportiva se espera que el título de campeón también pueda estar en juego:

Cualquier usuario que haya conseguido al menos tres victorias en concursos oficiales de la comunidad en el mes puede desafiar al Campeón del Mundo de los Pesos Pesados comunicándolo a través de un post. El campeón podrá aceptar o rechazar el reto, pero, oye, somos una comunidad deportiva, nadie se negaría, ¿verdad?
En caso de que se acepte el desafío, el equipo de WOX Sports preparará un concurso especial para los dos contendientes, cuyo tema será elegido por el actual campeón. El ganador será proclamado Campeón del Mundo de los Pesos Pesados y, en caso de victoria del retador, el título pasará a él, hasta el vencimiento regular del mes, cuando el título cambiará de manos en la forma prevista.
Si el Campeón del Mundo de los Pesos Pesados no participa en los concursos propuestos por la comunidad antes del día 15 de cada mes, el título se declarará vacante y se otorgará eventualmente a través de un torneo entre los usuarios que más lo merezcan.

CONCURSOS DE SEPTIEMBRE

WOX Sports Predictors - Cada lunes habrá una nueva entrega del concurso basado en predicciones, otorgando un premio semanal de 5 Steem, patrocinado por la cuenta @frafiomatale, más un premio final basado en el dinero recaudado.
El concurso de Power Up - Cada martes el equipo de deportes de WOX otorgará un premio de Steem al usuario que haya conseguido más puntos en el concurso Power Up.
Mejor artículo de la semana - Cada miércoles, el equipo de deportes de WOX otorgará un premio en Steem al usuario que haya hecho el mejor artículo de la semana. El post en cuestión pasará a formar parte del Hall of Fame de WOX Sports, que aparece al final del concurso junto con el nombre y los artículos ganadores de semanas anteriores.
Concurso VIP - Al menos dos jueves del mes, el equipo de deportes de WOX establecerá un concurso especial al que sólo serán invitados a participar los miembros delegadores 💎, los miembros del trail 🏃 y el World Heavyweight Champion 🥋. El concurso puede incluir un premio de Steem u otras formas alternativas de recompensa. En algunos casos, los Powers Up 🚀 y los Top Commenters también pueden ser llamados a participar: la idea del equipo es hacer que los concursos VIP también sean más importantes en cuanto a la cantidad de premios otorgados que los concursos abiertos a todos.
Concurso de delegación a WOX Sports - Cada viernes @frafiomatale, uno de los administradores de la comunidad WOX Sports, dará una delegación de 1000 SP al usuario que a su vez haya delegado, con la intención de mantenerlo a medio plazo, la mayor cantidad de SP propios a la cuenta oficial del curador de la comunidad @sportscurator01. En caso de falta de participantes en el concurso, la delegación seguirá activa una semana más hasta el último usuario premiado.

N.B.: Los administradores, moderadores y usuarios de WOX Sports pueden publicar sus propios concursos en cualquier momento, aportando la autofinanciación de los premios. Si hay disponibilidad, el equipo de WOX Sports puede optar por apoyar algunos de estos concursos. Los concursos que se consideren válidos para la concesión de insignias 🏆🥈🥉 por parte del equipo de WOX Sports se marcarán con un aviso especial en los comentarios.

OTRAS ACTIVIDADES

Sábado de aprendizaje - En función del tiempo libre disponible, todos los sábados el equipo de Wox Sports publicará un post de utilidad pública para los usuarios de la comunidad. Para facilitar la consulta de los posts anteriores, se creará una landing page especial, fijada y siempre disponible entre los primeros posts de la comunidad.
Resultados del domingo - El domingo se dedicará a la publicación de los resultados, con la correspondiente entrega de premios y clasificación, del concurso principal de la comunidad, pero también podrá albergar ocasionalmente iniciativas o anuncios de última hora.
Resumen y noticias del mes siguiente - Cerca del final del mes, el equipo de deportes de WOX publicará un post anticipando las noticias y concursos del mes siguiente.
Los mejores posts de deportes en la plataforma - Una vez a la semana, se recopilará una lista de los mejores posts de deportes escritos en toda la plataforma Steemit. La nominación servirá así para dar visibilidad a la comunidad y atraer a los mejores autores a unirse a Wox Sports.

Le novità

Azzeramento dei badges 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

A partire dal giorno 1 settembre, tutti i badges conquistati nel mese di agosto si azzereranno, in modo che tutti gli utenti possano ripartire alla pari. Questo processo si ripeterà tutti i mesi, in corrispondenza della fine del mese. Tuttavia rimarrano vivi costantemente alcuni badges:

👤 Utenti familiari, assegnato a coloro i quali partecipano regolarmente alle attività della community con post, commenti, o gareggiando nei concorsi;
💎 Delegatori, assegnato a coloro i quali hanno una delega attiva nei confronti dell'account curatore ufficiale della community, @sportscurator01;
🏃 Iscritti al trail, assegnato a coloro i quali si sono uniti al trail @sportscurator01 su worldofxpilar.com.

Modalità di assegnazione dei badges 🏆🥈🥉💬🚀

Per ottenere i seguenti badges, gli utenti dovranno essere regolarmente iscritti alla community WOX Sports:

🏆 Vincitore di un contest, assegnato ai vincitori di ogni contest pubblicato dai membri del Team di WOX Sports;
🥈 Medaglia d'argento, assegnato al secondo classificato di ogni contest pubblicato dai membri del Team di WOX Sports che abbia raggiunto almeno otto partecipanti. Assegnata sempre nei VIP Contest, indipendentemente dal numero dei partecipanti;

A partire da settembre, l'utente che avrà ottenuto i migliori risultati nel mese precedente otterrà, come accade negli sport da combattimento, il titolo di World Heavyweight Champion e uno speciale badge accanto al proprio username (🥋), da portare fino al termine del mese. Inoltre sarà invitato a partecipare a tutti i contest VIP della community.

Attenzione però, perché essendo una comunità sportiva è previsto che il titolo da campione possa anche essere messo in palio:

Qualsiasi utente che avrà ottenuto almeno tre successi nei contest ufficiali della community potrà sfidare il World Heavyweight Champion, comunicandolo attraverso un post. Il campione potrà accettare o rifiutare la sfida, ma, ehy, siamo una community di sportivi, nessuno rifiuterebbe vero?
In caso di sfida accettata, il Team di WOX Sports preparerà un contest speciale per i due contendenti, la cui materia sarà scelta dal campione in carica. Il vincitore verrà proclamato World Heavyweight Champion e, nel caso di vittoria dello sfidante, il titolo passerà a lui, fino alla regolare scadenza del mese, quando passerà di mano secondo le modalità previste.
In caso di mancata partecipazione del World Heavyweight Champion ai contest proposti dalla communty entro il giorno 15 di ogni mese, il titolo verrà dichiarato vacante ed eventualmente assegnato tramite un torneo tra gli utenti più meritevoli.

I CONTEST DI SETTEMBRE

WOX Sports Predictors - Ogni lunedì si terrà una nuova puntata del concorso basato sui pronostici, che assegna un premio settimanale di 5 Steem, sponsorizzato dall'account @frafiomatale, più un premio finale in base al montepremi raccolto.
The Power Up contest - Ogni martedì il Team di WOX Sports premierà con un premio in Steem l'utente che avrà realizzato il maggior numero di punti all'interno del contest dedicato al Power Up.
Best Article of the week - Ogni mercoledì il Team di WOX Sports premierà con un premio in Steem l'utente che avrà realizzato il miglior post della settimana. Il post in questione entrerà così a far parte della Hall of Fame di WOX Sports, riportata in fondo al contest insieme al nome e agli articoli vincenti delle passate settimane.
VIP Contest - Almeno due giovedì del mese, il Team di WOX Sports istituirà un contest speciale al quale saranno invitati a partecipare solo i membri delegatori 💎, gli iscritti al trail 🏃e il World Heavyweight Champion 🥋. Il contest può prevedere un premio in Steem o altre forme di ricompensa alternative. In alcuni casi potranno essere chiamati a partecipare anche i Powers Up 🚀 e i Top Commenter: l'idea del Team è di rendere i VIP contest più importanti anche come quantità di premi assegnati rispetto ai contest aperti a tutti.
Delegate to WOX Sports contest - Ogni venerdì @frafiomatale, uno degli admin della community WOX Sports, metterà in palio una delega da 1000 SP all'utente che avrà a sua volta delegato, con l'intenzione di mantenerla nel medio periodo, la più alta quantità di propri SP all'account curatore ufficiale della community @sportscurator01. In caso di mancanza di partecipanti al contest, la delega rimarrà attiva per un'ulteriore settimana all'ultimo utente premiato.
N.B.: Admin, moderatori e utenti di WOX Sports possono pubblicare in ogni momento i propri contest, provvedendo ad autofinanziare i premi. In caso di risorse disponibili, il Team di WOX Sports potrà scegliere di supportare alcuni di questi contest. I contest ritenuti validi per l'assegnazione dei badges 🏆🥈🥉 dal Team di WOX Sports verranno contraddistinti da una speciale comunicazione nei commenti.

ALTRE ATTIVITA'

Per facilitare la consultazione dei post precedenti, verrà creata un apposita landing page, pinnata e sempre disponibile tra i primi post della community.
Sunday results - La domenica verrà dedicata alla pubblicazione dei risultati, con relativa premiazione e classifica, del contest principale della community, ma potrebbe anche occasionalmente ospitare iniziative o comunicazioni dell'ultimo minuto.
Riepilogo e novità del mese successivo - In prossimità della fine del mese, il Team di WOX Sports pubblicherà un post nel quale si anticiperanno le novità e i contest del mese successivo.
I migliori post sportivi della piattaforma - Una volta alla settimana, verrà stilato un elenco dei migliori post sportivi scritti all'interno dell'intera piattaforma Steemit. La nomination servirà così per dare visibilità alla community ed invogliare i migliori autori ad iscriversi a Wox Sports.
