THEME: CHILDHOOD
REMEMBER THE DAYS
Remember the days
When we loved to learn
Through the adventures of a game
But hate to be taught
In the walls if a classroom block
The days we owned houses of sand castle
Cars made from leaves and cartons
Dancing under the rain, chattering happily with no fears
Praying those moments never came to an end
Remember the tales mama told us at night
Tales of cunning tourtise and birds in the skies
How foolish were we to believe they were true
Yet we still hold those memories dear
When you think of it, think of me
And pray that someday when we meet
It would be in a camp, sitting by fire, singing Auld Lang Syne
Remember those Aulddays like it were just yesterday
Tell your children of it to keep the memories awake
