RE: UPVU 프록시와 스팀의 현실에 대하여

I wonder if it's my post on the subject that you're referring to? If not, I'll link to it here so that you understand the foundation of my comment.

Since joining, I've found myself engaged in many discussions about UPVU which very rarely involve you or the creators of the service. I don't know how many of these discussions you see or what your thoughts on them are but one thing that rises often is the quality of post that UPVU supports. It appears (and please correct me if I'm misguided) that once you've delegated to UPVU, you'll receive a daily upvote irrespective of whether you post a prize winning novel or a photo of a tank. It was this perception that caused Blurt to block new delegations to you soon after the service was launched on their platform.

These upvotes result in other people seeing pictures of tanks getting upvoted and subsequently posting pictures of tanks themselves, lowering the quality of content on Steemit.

For many, it's this low quality of content getting upvoted that subsequently encourages more people to post low quality content that is slowly killing this platform. Steemit should be a blogging platform focussed on supporting good quality content, which blind upvoting in return for a delegation is not. It's also one of my main motivations for writing a new front-end as I feel that much of the content you're upvoting is deterring good quality bloggers from joining the platform and my intention is to hide it from view.

Whilst I read your words of optimism, your desire to "save" Steemit as a platform, you must be aware that UPVU needs to adapt... because on its current trajectory, everybody will delegate their power to you and then there's no incentive for us to continue trying to write good quality content. Because we don't need to.

When you joined Blurt, I know you had discussions about introducing an UPVU blacklist - did anything come of this?

I hope that you don't perceive my post as confrontational. I am looking at Steemit with the same concerns as you but from a different angle with a different opinion on what needs to change. I hope that between us, with the contacts, skills and resources at our disposal we can raise Steemit from its current position. To do so (in my opinion)...

content needs to become king again

...and I believe that you hold the key to making this happen.
