I've done that myself. I've muted the post from this community. Feel free to resteem/cross-post. I know it looks funny because instead of just "detaching" from a community, it shows muted everywhere, even outside the community. :/

Yeah, Steemit mutes it everywhere. Not the best experience. :) Will create a new post and edit this one.
