Proposal Progress: PR 3705 Merged, and What is Next?

Thanks for all the supporters for Proposal: Fixing Steemd Build Dependencies in the Latest OS

Progress Update

The PR 3705 has just been merged! Hooray.

What is Next?

Less than 2 months (42 Days) to finish my first DAO - here are some remaining work to be done.

  • Tidying and Fixing the tests - some tests are still broken - unintended or intended.
  • As the PR 3705 allows NUMBER_BUILD_THREADS, I'll sync with @ety001 to see if possible to let github CI build steemd using only 1 thread. Free Plans offer 16GB RAM?, which maybe enough to build steemd if only 1 thread is used.
  • Experimenting the steemd build in ARM64 e.g. raspberry PI.
