Glittering Lights Shining Down (Freewrite Challenge)

Even before the pandemic, we're already living in a figurative darkness. Wars, poverty, atrocities, deaths, disasters, and so much more. Political warfares worsen the problems. It goes to show that no human rule has totally vanished the problems its citizens are facing.

Then Covid19 pandemic came, people are losing hope. Lockdowns imposed. Everyone are stuck at home, but there are many people suffering while at their own home. There are worries about food, and loss of jobs. Mental health began to deteriorate. There are millions of death. People with underlying illnesses are afraid to go to the hospitals to avoid Covid19, but passed away for not getting the right treatment. During the hard times, the people are still getting scammed from different schemes.

In this darkness, people are looking out for the light. Hoping the glittering lights that will come and shine down. It will serve as a hope, a silver lining. Time will pass, and we are going to overcome the hard times. Someday a new light will shine that will wipe away the darkness without leaving a trace of it.
