The Diary Game|| December 10, 2025|| "My Great Walking Adventure Just To Visit Our Old Church and My Relatives"

All of us loves to travel from one place to another and explore the great and relaxing views. Today, as part of my Morning Routine me and my Partner were decided to take a long walk from Zone 23 going to Barangay Linangkayan just to visit our Very old Church and some of my Relatives there. It will be a long walk and takes a lot of time before reaching the place. As for that, in order for us to keep from intense heat, we decided to walk early in the morning and to keep it very adventuristic, we passing by at the Mountain to captured lots of photos about the great overlooking views. As I already packed my things, we started to walk at exactly 6 in the Morning.

First we passes by here in this forestry areas located in Parola Farm Valley. This is truly a valley because of the plain place located at the middle of the Mountains. I was very amazed to see this place during our Walking adventure because of the tall trees, lots of agricultural plants like coconuts and bananas. Lots of wild animals like birds can be seen and heard twitting. I felt very comfortable because of the cool surroundings brought by nature and trees. This road here leads to the Mountain top and served as a shortcut leading to Barangay Linangkayan.

After almost an hour of walking at the valley, we finally reached this very plain place located near at the Mountain slope. It is filled with lots of coconut trees and few Farm animals eating wild grass. As for that, I hurriedly got my cellphone and started to take pictures of the place. We already near at the mountain slope and I was very excited to climb up the mountain and all the way down again in order for us to reach the other side of the place.

This is located at the slope and it covers with lots of fruit trees just like this jackfruits. Walking at the place is quite difficult because of the slippery road trails leads to the other side of the place. I decided to walked very carefully so I cannot slipped in. As I observed the place, even if it is a slope areas, still there are lots of agricultural plants just like Coconuts and bananas planted. Few simple sheds structures built and it was a very quite place perfect to visit during summer season.

Finally as a few minutes of walking at the mountain we already reached the other side of the place all the way down from the Border areas of Manticao and Naawan, but there was still a long way to walk and a long great adventure should be done. It was been a long time since I visited this place again, and the last time I was passing here the place was filled with trees and thick wild grass, but now it was already subdivided and few houses are already built. This road here leads to the border side of the Municipality located near at the river.

It tooks few hours of walking adventure from Zone 23, all the here in Mount Santa Cruzan. This road here leads to mountain slope again were a shortcut road going to the main road. The most amazed views here is that, the road trail excavated at the mountain slope surrounded with lots of bamboo trees and an old balete tree grows near at the rocky road.

A Road at the Middle of the Bamboo Trees and Mountain Slope:

As I pass by here, I felt like I am in other country because of lots of bamboo trees and other kinds of wild plants. People always visited here just to experience the relaxness of the place and aside of that, motoriders and bicycle racers always went here for an adventure. I felt tired already but I kept myself pursuing walking and enjoyed watching the relaxing and beautiful views of the place we passing by.

Passing by In This Old Balete Tree:

This old Balet tree already lives almost hundred years old, We decided to stopped here for a while and take a minute rest. Gladly the place is very cool and relaxing because of its shady areas. I hurriedly take some pictures of this old tree since this was my first time to see very old balete tree. It covers the place with its big branches and long vines and lots of wild animals like birds can be seen and heard. Under this big and old balete tree is the rocky road going to the main street.

The rocky road is also near at the river and expected to have a tall cliffs. After a few minutes of rest under this big old balete tree, we continued to walk all the way to Barangay Linnagkayan and I am very excited to visit our old church there and also my Relatives. We are at the middle of our walking adventure and started to heard the vehicle sounds, indicates that we are already near at the main road.

Finally, after 5 hours of walking adventure we reached the church and decided to visit my relatives as well. I am really amazed of the structure because even if it is very old, still the structure is intacted and gladly some of my relatives also renovated it. Even if I felt very tired, still it is very worth it because of the nice views and relaxing areas we passing by. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
