The Diary Game|| January 8, 2026|| " First Time Visit At My Uncle's Farm"

It was my very first time to visit my Uncle's Small farm located at Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental. He invited us last day to visit his place and we are so delighted to went there. This Diary post of mine was all about traveling and visiting my Uncle's farm. Expected to have lots of wonderful overlooking views and wide plain places at the Farm. It was early in the morning at exactly 6 in the morning when I started to prepare the food for our Breakfast, while my Daughter was still fell asleep, I kept myself busy preparing the foods for breakfast and also the things we will brought during a visit at the farm. Luckily, the weather was still calm and good and it shows that there will no bad weather will happens that is why it is perfect to do traveling.

It was already 8 in the morning when I finished my obligations and chores here in our house. After that, we walked a few meters away going to the road and started to wait for any passenger vehicles to passes by.

We have a lot of patience waiting for a passenger vehicle because the street was still very quite even if it was already 8 in the morning. Few of the vehicles passing by here are big trucks and private vehicles. It takes almost an hour of waiting until one of the passenger vehicle was finally arrived and we started to travel a few Kilometers away. As we arrived at the place, my Relatives was very happy to see us visiting their place and after a short period of a happy and funny conversation, I decided to explored around the farm. My Uncle's farm is contains lots of Tall coconut trees, Cassava crops and some vegetables like Eggplants, Okra and even chilli pepper. There are lots of empty garden plots to be planted by Bitter gourd and Peanuts. On each side of the place is surrounded with nets so chickens cannot get inside of the Garden.

As I kept exploring the farm and its neighboring place, I noticed this small but very unique house built at the middle of the plain area. It is an open field because few of the coconuts here are already withered and died. This place is perfect for bicycle training and also training to ride on a motorcycle. It was very peaceful and quite place and the only thing I heard was tweeting of birds and wind breeze. This plain areas here are surrounded with mountains and hills and a road trail going up to the other side of the Sitio. Only few houses are built here and some of it are made of light materials like Lumbers and bamboo pieces. According to my Uncle, this place here will also develop into a farm land soon.

Some of the hills here are planted with lots of coconut trees and all of it are already well harvested. This hundreds of coconut trees are planted at the slope of the hill, few native trees like Mahogany and Molave are grows in the place. A bamboo fences are also built indicates the land boundary between the two Areas. A small structure of copra dryer made of round tembers is also built here and it can still usable until today. It was 10 O'clock in the morning when I continued to explored the place and I felt very happy to see those wonderful views.

Near at my Uncle's farm is the curvy concrete road going to Sitio Ilaya. This concrete road is built at the slope place of the hill and it is very fascinating. This concrete road was already built 20 years already and it helps to the residents of the Sitio to have a very easy access road if they want to travel going to the Market. On each side of the road are hundreds of coconut trees and a long stone walls.

Me and my Family was still exploring the place and there we saw lots of Native trees grows at the Farm. Most of it are Acacia, Molave and Mahogany trees, dried branches are also used as a firewoods or for structural porpuses. Aside of that, Few young coconuts and different kinds of mushrooms can also be seen and found here. I was having an enjoyable time exploring this cool and relaxing place because of the trees.

After of having a lot of fun time exploring the farm and it neighboring place, we went back at my Uncle's house and there they cooked chicken adobo for our Lunch. It was really a nice and wonderful I have. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
