Four Homes in Bireuen Damaged by Strong Winds.
Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds struck Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, damaging four homes in Bireuen Regency.
The disaster occurred in the villages of Aneuk Bate, Alue Kruep, and Rambong Payong, Peusangan Siblah Krueng District, Bireuen Regency.
According to information from the Bireuen Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana), the houses damaged by the strong winds suffered damage to the roof and kitchen.
In Aneuk Bate Village, Megawati's house, where she lives with her family, suffered severe roof damage. In Alue Kruep Village, Herawati's house, where she lives with her family, also suffered severe roof damage.
Meanwhile, Furqan's house, a resident of Alue Kruep Village, suffered minor roof damage. Meanwhile, the house belonging to Muhamad Den, a resident of Rambong Payong Village, sustained minor damage to the kitchen.
Zulfikar GA, Head of the Bireuen Tagana Coordinator Forum, stated that four houses were damaged by the strong winds. Two houses were severely damaged and two houses suffered minor damage.
In addition to damaging homes, the strong winds also uprooted several trees, blocking the village's main road.
"Following the disaster, the Bireuen Government, through the Social Services Agency, has distributed panic aid to the victims," Zulfikar GA stated.
To alleviate the burden on disaster victims, the Bireuen Regency Social Services Agency has distributed panic aid, including basic food supplies and other emergency necessities.
This assistance is expected to help residents whose homes were damaged and meet their daily needs temporarily. However, there were no fatalities in the incident.
