Joint Roll Call, Regent Hopes Civil Servants Will Improve Discipline

The Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) in Aceh held a joint roll call after Eid al-Fitr and a halal bi halal gathering for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) at the Bireuen Regency Headquarters.

The roll call for the first day back to work after Eid was led by Bireuen Regent H. Mukhlis ST, attended by the Deputy Regent, Ir. H. Razuardi MT, the Acting Regional Secretary, assistants, heads of the Regional Work Units (SKPK), sub-district heads, and hundreds of employees.

The roll call concluded with a prayer led by Said Jamaluddin, Head of the Bireuen MPU Secretariat, followed by a handshake session from heads of departments, agencies, offices, sub-district heads, and employees with the Regent and Deputy Regent, as well as their wives.

In his remarks, Regent Mukhlis stated that today all employees are beginning their respective routine work and duties and are addressing any remaining deficiencies so that they can improve in the future.

As the regional head, H. Mukhlis also urged the heads of Regency Work Units (SKPK) to use manual attendance, which currently uses fingerprint machines.

The Regent stated that he still sees many employees arriving promptly but then disappearing after the check-in, causing delays in activities or tasks that should have been completed immediately. This disrupts the implementation of activities in the departments.

In the aftermath of the disaster, much must be done, and he hopes that by early 2026, he expects all SKPKs to implement financial management immediately and ensure that no more work is completed late.
