Opened by the Regent, 1,068 Elementary School Students Enthusiastically Participate in the Scout Skills Festival (Peratrampra).
A total of 1,068 elementary school (MI) students across Bireuen Regency enthusiastically participated in the Scout Skills Festival (Peratrampra), opened by the Bireuen Regent on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Cot Gapu Green Open Space (RTH) field.
Committee Chair Fauzan stated that the one-day event featured participants from 58 Islamic schools across 17 districts in Bireuen, with four accompanying teachers per school.
Participants will compete in four categories: Marching Skills Training (LKBB), a KIM (smell, touch, feel, and see) competition involving kitchen ingredients provided by the committee, an obstacle course, and an exploration.
Fauzan also explained that the LKBB (Learning and Community Service) location will be on the Regent's office grounds, the obstacle course on the Cot Gapu RTH Field, and the exploration and KIM (Innovation and Community Service) activities will be held on the road in the Cot Gapu Village area.
The Head of the Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs Office (Kankemenag), Dr. H. Zulkifli, SAg., MPd., stated that this is an extracurricular activity for madrasahs and was initiated by all elementary madrasahs.
He explained that in addition to fostering camaraderie, this activity is part of the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Charity Day (HAB).
"Through this activity, we hope to educate children to become skilled and knowledgeable about religious values, cultivate independence, and ultimately, empower them to become wise leaders," he said.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, stated that Bireuen Regency is currently building the future, and that future is our children, the golden generation of Bireuen, who will be the backbone of the progress of this beloved region.
Through this Scout Festival, which will serve as a character laboratory, our children will not only learn how to compete, but also learn to share, respect, and cooperate, so that they will grow into resilient and loving individuals.
Take advantage of this golden opportunity wholeheartedly. Participate in every activity with high sportsmanship and an unyielding spirit. See every challenge as a stepping stone to success.
On that occasion, the Regent also advised the students to remember several things: Winning or losing is not the most important thing; what matters is the learning process and the character you are developing.
Every difficulty you face today is a source of strength to face greater challenges in the future. The friendship and teamwork you build today will become your network of strength in the future.
"Achieve success in Bireuen today, then go even further for the world tomorrow. Be a brave, resilient young person who will bring honor to our beloved region," said Regent Mukhlis.
