Their culture is very complicated. Every new newspaper I read. I discover between the lines that the tradition they have is strong. But a doubt jumps out at me. If they are always either sleeping or praying. Or breaking the fast. At what time do they work? How do they have economy? I just ask to understand the idiosyncrasy of Indonesian.

Usually I work as a teacher at an elementary school in my village. However, because of school holidays during the month of Ramadan, I also take a lot of time to worship and rest during this month. May I ask how many holdidays/vacations you have per year? Ramadan is twice per year meaning 2 months per year schoolvacations and you have other holidays or are these the only ones?
How many hours per day do children visit primary school and from what age on they start? With us it's 4 years old and it's set by law so no staying home or taking naps which isn't always easy for little children.

Thank you for your question. I will answer which month of Ramadan falls in a year. However, especially for us in Aceh province during the month of Ramadan, school activities are closed for a whole month. Elementary school children study at school between 5 to 6 hours a day which lasts for 6 days except Sundays and other red dates. The average age of elementary school children is at least 6 years old.
