Acting Regent and Forkopimda Review Blang Beururu Peudada Waste Landfill.

Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen Regency, Jalaluddin, SH MM together with officials of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and heads of related agencies, reviewed the location of the Final Disposal Site (TPA) for waste located in Matang Asan Hamlet, 5 km from the center of Gampong Blang Beururu, Peudada District, Wednesday (25/9/2024) afternoon.

The working visit of the regional leaders was to see firsthand the condition of the waste landfill to carry out further arrangements so that the waste handling process can be carried out better and there is no environmental pollution.

Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin at the location said, as an effort to prevent environmental pollution, the construction of a wastewater reservoir was immediately carried out, said Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, during a working visit to the location.

It was also said that the Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) will organize the TPA into a better and better waste disposal location.

"I will try to communicate later with both the Aceh Provincial Government and the Central Government, for waste management that can produce fertilizer," he said.

Regarding the TPA handling process, we will try to handle it with the 2025 budget, because for 2024 the budget discussion has been completed.

"The condition of the damaged road to the TPA is also our concern," he said.

"Repairing the damaged road is also our concern, because this is the main access road for the waste transport fleet to the TPA and if the weather is rainy, the condition of this road is very risky to pass," said the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin.
