Thousands of Geudong-Geudong Residents Vote, Mustafa Elected as Village Head for the 2025–2031 Period.

A total of 1,440 residents of Geudong-Geudong Village, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, voted in the Direct Village Head Election (Pilchiksung) held at the Kemukiman Geudong Al Mujahidin Mosque complex on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

In the election, Mustafa, number 2, was elected Village Head (Keuchik) of Geudong-Geudong for the 2025–2031 period. Mustafa received 645 votes, outperforming two other candidates: Zul Azmi, S.Sos., number 1, who received 616 votes. Meanwhile, the incumbent candidate, number 3, Fachrial, received 173 votes.

The Head of the Geudong-Geudong Village Head Election Committee (P2K), Furqansyah, stated that 2,388 people were registered on the final voter list (DPT) for this election. Of the 1,440 voters present, 1,434 votes were valid and six votes were invalid.

The event, which began at 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), proceeded safely and orderly. Furqansyah stated that Mustafa was elected as the Village Head of Geudong-Geudong for the 2025-2031 term.

The vote count was conducted openly in the presence of the three candidates, witnesses, the Kota Juang Subdistrict Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimcam), and the local community. With the most votes, Mustafa became the new leader of Geudong-Geudong Village for the next six years.

Mustafa expressed his gratitude to all the residents of Geudong-Geudong for their trust in him as the elected village head. He now encourages the entire community to unite in developing the village.

"Let's collaborate and become one. There are no more differences in choices. Let's advance the village together," Mustafa urged.

Mustafa emphasized the importance of togetherness for the village's future progress. He hoped that the community would work together to advance Geudong-Geudong Village, despite their differing choices in the election process.
