The idea is sound, but how can we ensure that the 'oracles' that feed GAO's external data into the blockchain are themselves immune from manipulation?
Your concern is understandable. Maybe we can use a Decentralized Oracle Network with multi-source consensus, staking penalties, cryptographic proofs, reputation tracking, and human dispute review to prevent false data from entering blockchain systems.
