Diary Game|| May 14, 2023|| "Our Travel Visit at Mahanggub Eco-Park In Naawan, Misamis Oriental"
First, we do a visit this relaxing stream near at the mountain. According to the elder people who lives in this place, their are Native people who do a ritual ceremony here and offered chickens and pig and placed to the big stones. In local term, we called it "DIWATA" or "PAMUHAT". The place was filled with many big stones, wildplants, ferns, insects and even a deadly and dangerous animals like Snakes.
If we traveled from the Town going in this Sitio, it takes 1 hour of travel. The road was not yet all concreted but the Local Government did their best to do the projects. Sitio Mahanggub was also field with many big trees just like Tugas, Mahogany and Germilina trees. During our visit, I was very amazed of what I've seen because of the fogs in that area. According to the caretaker of the place, even if it is already NOON time, still there is a fogs in the streams. This can make the place even cooler.
As we arrived in the place, we seen this paradise-like place filled with many tall and big trees. The place is very warm and very relaxing, the place was also filled with crystal clear water. Everybody can be abled to swim and have fun in here together with Families, relatives or friends. The eco park also have concrete walls in the stream, this was connected to the place were we passed during our travel going to our destination.
The concrete walls and barriers was serve as the edge of this place. The water can't easily over flow in here and it is just like a pool. We seen the different kinds of stones, the colors, sizes and types of stone in here. It was already covered with algae plants and it was very fascinating to see. Near at this pool of water is a big tree called, Balete. The owner of this place decided not to cut the tree because it gives a shady areas and cool place.
Under the big trees was also located this unique build cottages. This is very perfect for making or doing some food trips. During our travel visits, we actually seen some occasions and many people brought some foods for the occasions. Well, this is a very perfect place for having some activities or occasions just like Birthdays, Anniversaries, Baptism and even weddings. Almost 15 cottages can be located in here and it can approximately covered up to 20 people each cottage. There is a concreted staircase so that people or visitors will climb up in this slope place easily.
Visitors loves to take pictures particularly in over view place. That is why they decided to build this bridge on the stream. It is made of bamboo and ropes and tied together to make it a bridge. This was located near at the cottages and it connected between the two cliffs of the place.
Each ways was build with this fascinating bannesters. This is a kind of fence with the use of round lumber and coated with mahogany color varnish. This can make the banesters even more fascinating, this can help to avoid the visitors especially the children from falling. This is a kind of decorations on the place also.
The pathways lead and straight to the cottages is build with concrete and it can be very easy to all visitors to walk in this slope place. The edge of the cottages was filled with many vine plants to make the place even more fascinating and attractive.
There are place that contains many wooden tables and chairs just like this one. All of this chairs and tables was made of hard wood like tugas and mahogany. The caretaker decided to put this in this perfect area so that the visitors can watch all places while eating their snacks or meals. It was very fun and enjoyable eating our foods under this big tree and relaxing areas.
