Budget Refocusing, Regent Hopes Development Proposals Are Very Important.
The Regent of Bireuen Regency, H Mukhlis, ST hopes that stakeholders at the sub-district level will propose development that is truly a priority because the regional budget is very limited.
This hope was conveyed by the Regent when closing the Musrenbang for the District Government Work Plan (RKPK) at the Kota Juang, Juli, Jeumpa and Kuala Sub-district levels, opened by Deputy Regent Ir Razuardi, MT, attended by DPRK members, Assistants, heads of SKPK and hundreds of participants from four sub-districts, at the Old Setdakab Hall, Friday, March 14, 2025.
"We understand that all 609 villages in Bireuen need development, and I hope that stakeholders at the sub-district level, please prioritize very important proposals because the budget is limited," said the Regent.
It was also explained that the limited budget of the Bireuen Regency Government was due to a very large budget refocusing from the Central Government, including for the infrastructure budget at the PUPR Office of IDR 54 billion to zero budget.
Likewise, for official travel must be cut by 50 percent, including the need for Office Work Equipment (ATK) also affected by the refocusing, only about 10 percent.
Likewise, the Regent said that he also continues to strive to obtain a budget sharing from other sources, so that infrastructure development continues to run, because this is very important for the people of Bireuen Regency.
"So I hope that the development that is carried out is truly right on target. Likewise, activities funded with the main funds of DPRK members, can be right on target according to the interests of the community," he hoped.
On that occasion, Regent Mukhlis also hoped that the Village Government would be able to build aid houses for the poor or underprivileged, at least 2 permanent houses every year, no rehab houses.
If assistance is given for house renovation, it is feared that it will not last long, if the materials or wood used are not of good quality. But if a new house is built with permanent construction, it can last for a long time and be used by children and grandchildren, he concluded.
