Dinner In Chinatown
I met up with a friend for dinner at the hawker center in Chinatown last week.
After the meal, we had a walk around the area to see what was new. Quite a few shops had changed hands. A couple of tailor shops and gift shops were gone. Not surprising really. The rentals are a killer in this kind of touristy location. In their places are more Chinese Restaurants.
Some photos of Chinatown from the visit.
A simple meal of stir fried beef, stir fried vegetables, some pork satay and we shared a litre of beer. Satays are chunks of meat grilled on a skewer, and served with peanut sauce. There are also beef, chicken and lamb satays.
Thank you, friend!
