What's In The Box?

It was that last Friday, and she went back home. She was tired. It was not her work, the house chores or, dealing with family. It was about something in her mind. She saw a box written on it her name and future. But, she wondered what's in the box?

Well, it was an unresolved mystery. The box that she found in the basement. They've recently moved there. The odds were, one a million that the box was supposed to be for her. But, a weird thought in mind kept telling her that it was supposed to be given to her.

The next morning, she went straight to the basement, she opened the box and saw the unexpected. The box had all her pictures since she was a child. There are some notes that are left within the box. The notes were like letters or diaries that her future self was writing. Her tears started falling off. She does not know why. The only thing that she understands at that moment, is how scary that moment is.

Her mom entered the room. She quickly hugged her daughter, while returning everything back in the box. She was trying to tell something to her mom about the box. But, her mom interrupted with saying, don't worry. It is just something that I wanted to give to you in your eighteenth birthday. Her mom would have said anything at that moment. But, not to let her know or feel that she is different. That she used to be sick.
