Teaching is a profession that is in a dilemma at the moment.
Dear friends, admins, and all moderators of our beloved community. May we always be under His protection!
A profession full of dilemmas! Yes... Indeed, this profession often seems full of dilemmas, especially in the eyes of the people around us today. Although sometimes it's a noble profession, we ourselves often feel indecisive due to the negative comments we receive from those around us.
One such profession is teaching. Although this profession is very noble and every teacher is very meritorious, teachers often face dilemmas and negative criticism.
Teachers are often criticized by the community, especially by parents. While every teacher is expected to educate students well, their teaching methods are often criticized by parents and others. When students achieve outstanding academic results, praise is often showered on the students themselves or their parents. However, when students fail and fail academically, the teacher is often blamed.
Teaching is a profession that faces many challenges. Many third parties judge teachers without even experiencing the struggles they face in the classroom. They are simply good at imparting theory and strategies, without any direct involvement in the field.
Furthermore, teachers are burdened with excessive administrative duties, carrying out various tasks beyond their normal scope. Handling various administrative tasks can interfere with their classroom teaching time. This administrative burden often leaves many teachers feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
Teachers are always in a dilemma, especially with parents or guardians of students. Parents often blame teachers for their children's mistakes. Parents often disregard teachers when their children achieve success and win prizes. Sometimes they assume their children simply inherited their innate intelligence.
Teachers are always in a dilemma, faced with numerous problems, and feel marginalized by both parents and the state. This is because the law on teacher protection has yet to be implemented.
Teachers are constantly being marginalized, considered a burden, and seemingly colonized by excessive administrative burdens, while their salaries are disproportionate to the moral burden they bear. The responsibility of educating the nation's children is placed on teachers' shoulders, without any real protection from the state.
Friends, that concludes my presentation for today. I sincerely hope for your suggestions and comments. Please forgive me for any errors in this post. Wassalam.
