Covid-19 was an epidemic. What would you say about it?
Covid-19 has changed the whole world upside down. And every single person was affected by it by direct or non-direct means. Many people lost their lives and many people lost their jobs, and other things which help a person in his daily life.
As a student of Aviation management I know that the aviation business got almost zero, the airlines who was once the market leader got bankrupt and the air was empty. And the only thing which was working was the cargo planes, which actually helped the new airlines to understand the importance of the cargo industry.
That was one of the many examples we saw in the covid-19, we know the airline industry brings the more money than many other industries contributing to many countries' GDP and while all the businesses were down, many countries' GDP got affected badly, bringing Stagflation in many developing countries like Pakistan. And prices hikes in every country disturbing the whole worldwide economy.
My family also became a victim of Covid-19, as we used to have a Computer accessories shop and because of the lockdowns, we had to close our shop.
What difficulties did you personally encounter during Covid-19?
Actually, if I were the one who was working hard for my family it would have been hard for me. But sadly I am not the one, my father is the one who faced those difficulties more than any other member of my home. But Alhumdulillah we fought those hard times together.
I remember on 28th March 2020 when the first Lockdown, happened and my dad had just come home and saw the news, I can not forget the look on his face. And how he touched his pockets because at that time he only had 500 Rupees in his pocket, with no savings at home.
The Covid in Pakistan almost lasted for I think 2 years, it is still there but it is under control and there aren't any more lockdowns right now in Pakistan.
But the other difficulty we faced in Covid-19 was that in June 2021, my father got into a really bad accident leaving my femur bone fractured. And because of that he still uses a stick to walk and the pain is still there. So yeah those were some difficult times in Covid-19 Times.
How Steemit blockchain helped you during Covid-19 ?
Actually the Covid-19 started in march 2020 in Pakistan, but I started working regularly on STEEMIT in December 2020, I remember those times very clearly. It was 4th December 2020 when I came back to STEEMIT. And you can now see how clearly I remember those times as I also remember the date I made my post after years.
And in that, I can clearly say that Steemit has helped me and my family in those hard times of Covid-19. I paid off my and my brother's university fees first time ever with my hard-earned money including all the due fees from the previous semester which we were not able to give because of bad financial health.
The money I earned from here actually helped in buying basic necessities for my home and also contributed to my father in working things out. And because of that I have a special place for STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN in my heart and want to give my everything to grow this platform as much as possible.
How many people in your household were affected by Covid-19 disease and what was the condition?
I actually lived in a joint family where in a single house there were 4 families living. Alhumdulillah I and my many family members did not get affected by Covid-19, but sadly my uncle and my cousins who lived on the other floor got affected by the Covid-19.
And the worst part of that, happened when the Eid happened. I remember how my father's younger brother cried because it was the first time in his life that he was not able to hug his elder brother.
Eid was like empty that year, and the situation of my cousins was also very bad. My one cousin who is also a doctor got affected by Covid 2 times. And the second time it was very bad that his eyes were red and his body got so weak that it was being hard for him to stand up. But Alhamdulillah With time everything went well.
There was also sad news we all coped with, my cousin's husband died from Covid-19 and left his 6 small children behind. So yeah it was really hard on my family.
How did Steemit keep you busy or rely on information when you were home locked during covid-19
Actually not very much, as in the city I was living in the lockdowns got eased after the first 5-6 months. So when I started on Steemit, the Lockdown was already eased and we were well aware of the world's information. And I have also been delivering some honey at that time so I saw my whole city in that Covid-19 time.
Did you sell steemit earing during covid-19 to reduce or eliminate the problems you face in your daily life?
Actually Alhumdulillah we were eating all 3 meals and good food. The only problem we were facing was that we were not able to submit our fees, the feeses of our universities, and my other sibling's school feeses as those were really high for us to submit.
So yes, I withdraw the Steem tokens to submit our school and university fees.
Did steemit help other people besides you in your country, city during a covid-19 global epidemic?
Not much, as Pakistan is a country of 220 Million People and I think at that time there were only 500 - 1000 Pakistanis who were working on STEEMIT at that time.
And I think we all tried to make the change we guided as many people as we can, to come on this platform and start earning. We the team of steemit-pak hold a charity drive in our country. To help the people, so yeah steemit helped other people in my country, city during a covid-19 global epidemic.
You informed people about steemit during covid-19 so that they too can get out of trouble by joining steemit.
Yes, I actually informed many people, my friends, my family, my family friends, and my cousins. And some of them started working on this platform, while some did not.
The main example of the people I informed was, ammar2021, huzaifanaveed1, Abdu.navi08, and hafsasaadat90. And then these guys brought more people on this platform.
What difficulties and major issues did you face during Covid-19's terrible disease and how did Steemit improve, support, and help in your life during Covid-19 and other people around your city or country.
There were many difficulties, we all faced in the Covid-19 era. Those were some hard times that I will never forget in my entire life. As in that time family went through some really hard phases. We had a computer accessories shop which was been working for 25 years but at this covid-19 time, we had to stop its operations and had to shut down the shop.
My cousin's husband lost his life while fighting this deadly disease. My cousins got affected by this disease and we were not able to go near them. It was a hard time.
Steemit was like an angel in the dark days. When we were struggling the Steemit came into our lives and changed our lives upside down in a good way. I to be honest will never forget that I paid my and my brother's university fees with the money I earned on Steemit.
I am sorry for the tiring face, I am just too tired right now, was not able to sleep properly for some days, and still I wanted to make a post because this topic was something I really wanted to talk about. So thank you to all the people who are behind in making this wonderful contest.

The pandemic has really caused lots of harm, I can imagine how your Dad felt when he heard of the lockdown, but thank God we all scaled through.
