This might be the coolest Nigerian Movie ever

Nollywood is about to get a huge boost in reputation with the impending release of 'Eagle Wings the Nigerian Air Force story'. The movie came as a result of a discussion held in November of 2019 between undiscosed Nollywood men and the Nigerian Army.

This movie will be a collabporative effort between the Nigerian Military and Nollywood. It is going to be the first time that this sort of venture is actually happening in Nigeria and it has a lot of movie heads excited.

Not much is known about the budget but we do know it is going to be expensive and according to Defense Nigeria Twitter Page it will be one of the most expensive Nigerian productions ever. The cast will feature Enyinna Nwigwe and Femi Jacobs according to pulse, but other than that, the intricate details of the movie are still unknown.

For those of you that don't know, I'm actually running a Masters program in the Airforce Institute of Technology and in there, we have a lot of military men running courses. Half of my class are actually in the Airforce and one of them mentioned the movie to me weeks ago, way before the story even burst.

What to Expect

I can't say for sure but I can say for sure that it won't be compared to anything you'd see in Hollywood, so dampen your expectations. However, for Nigeria, it is a big step in the right direction.

I struggle to watch Nollywood movies because it all seems so fake and unrelatable. They try too hard to seem like Hollywood and don't paint the picture in a way that is relatable.

Judging by some of the pictures I've stumbled into, it's going to be some serious shit.

They're actually making a movie based on real-life war stories and I think this will actually be good for Nigerians as a whole. There's actually a disconnect between Civilians and the Military because they tend to act like dicks.
