RE: If we all lived forever
I only wonder what it's like to be fed up with life. Because I know in my heart that if someone pulled a gun on me now I would beg for my life and after 50 years I still would beg for my life. Perhaps there might come a time where I think this way, to not want to live any more
An interesting comparison. I wouldn’t beg anyone for the right to live. There’s a quote: “Better to die standing than to live on one’s knees!” by Emiliano Zapata. That sums me up pretty much perfectly... Otherwise, I really do enjoy life ;-)) But I know when enough is enough.
Oh yes, I believe at some point enough will be enough, I'm actually about to post something very related to this particular point, enough being enough. Not the whole thing but a part of it. I did fantasize a lot about immortality when I was younger but after learning exactly what would happen, I'm having a different mind to it

As a young person, one automatically associates eternal life with eternal youth. Over time, one quickly realises this is a mistake, and common sense then tells most people that the way nature works is just fine. Coming and going, constant renewal.
