Desire

Promises kept, remorse etched,
grief melting through the skin.
A silence thinly stretched.
A wound shaped within
sorrow needed a body
a hollow carcass...... a void.

the desire persists,
unquenched,
shadows do not fade.

Words built to heal, yet
they disturb what already exists.

They remain somewhere
quiet, waiting to be heard.
Hunger persists, sinful spare.

Shush…
Yearning moves through you, delay.
Appetite is timeless…
Fine to walk away.
