Interesting question you pose, lemme think.....
I see it as: everyone has their chance. If immortality a choice, most of us would not exist — to create or to leave behind, perks of this merciful life.
"Some people should not exist long enough; this statement minding the fleeting lives." with a grain of salt.
And would you consider what happens to those precious memories that keep getting erased and remade?
Memories, they are brutal.... hell, no, they just come and go. A memory of me sitting in a place, the gravity removed, and they make you watch, like to be in charge.
These uppity, supercilious memories then: "This, you."
"I know, just get the hell out."
