Do whatever you want, don't skip learning languages just because of the technology ahead. I juggled learning Japanese a lot and still it is beneficial to learn it. We should just keep learning, even when there is no scope. Dive in a little bit just to know what it's like, read books to expand creativity.

There are millions of things to learn. I see you edit images, check out the software TouchDesigner or watch some videos regarding it. It is an interesting creative software, I am learning it as well, primarily for data moshing.
