Hello, my dear @steemitblog,

This is @dove11 from India.

I hereby apply for the post of Steemcurator for the month of May 2024 in response to applications invited by your good self for May on April 17th, 2024.

I hereby reintroduce myself.

I joined the Steemit platform on May 14, 2022, as I had nothing much to do due to my laid-off situation from an active job for over two years during COVID-19. I have been in a project job for the last six months, posted in Canberra, looking after my company's interest in the local market.

I have mentioned in my earlier application this will be my last project with this company, and then I will settle in India or Australia. I have a passion for writing based on my travels and photographs.

As I mentioned in my last application, I joined this website in May 2022 and have been posting regularly since then. I have experience on various Indian and international websites as a writer, editor, and moderator until 2013 so I am feeling comfortable and having a nice experience working on this website.

In my last four tenures as a curator, I didn't think the job of a community curator was easy, and my experience confirms that fact. I try to go to as many posts as possible before voting for a worthy user. I try my best to abide by the rules and give my best to support the users, irrespective of their rank and the communities or countries they belong to.

As a community curator I came across several users who were neglected otherwise so keeping them in mind I would like to reapply to join one of the teams for May 2024. I feel that my experience as a community curator will further improve my motive and improve the process of curation. I have been working with seasoned Steem Curators for the last four terms and every term gives me an extra opportunity to become better by learning from their experiences.

As a rule, I check to see if the users follow the set norms and rules before voting for them. My last experience proved that the role of a community curator is time-consuming and requires a lot of work to keep an eye on worthy users, and that's one of the reasons I have decided to offer my services for this responsibility once again.

Here is a little about me:

I have completed my Newcomers' Community Achievement 5.1 (Verified/2022). I completed most of these tasks as soon as I joined this site, as the member who introduced me suggested so that I understood the Steemit platform and all the rules and regulations.

I am a verified member of more than 40 different communities and contribute as and when I find an interesting topic in them.

Details of positions of responsibility I have held on Steem

Moderator for Traveling Steem (Travel Mod)
Curator Team-2 for October 2023.
Curator Team-2 for February 2024.
Curator Team-2 for March 2024.
Curator Team-2 for April 2024
Cofounder Dream Steem Community
Steem Representative (Appointed recently)

My professional expertise:

I am a qualified mechanical engineer and have a PG Diploma in Management and special alloys welding technology. I last worked as a DGM (marketing) before I took over project jobs in BRO, the Indian Army's Border Road Organization, on a contract basis, and later I took project work overseas as an expert in my field in March 2011.

I am no longer working as a regular employee in the corporate world, but I still work and manage projects on a retainer basis. Currently, I am working in Australia, based in Canberra, looking after the network management, maintenance, and service of our equipment for an India-based equipment manufacturing company.

I have completed a short-term online blogging and vlogging course from Udemy, an online education platform. I have a diploma in special alloy welding technology.

I worked as an editor and moderator on various websites until 2013, but most of those sites have been closed now due to Google's earning algorithm.

I am conversant with plagiarism checking, and lately, I have become familiar with ChatGPT and how it works. I have been organizing contests in various Steemit communities for a long time.

Country I live in and languages I can read fluently:

My permanent residence is 30 kilometers away from the city of Delhi in the National Capital Region of India, but I am living in Canberra, Australia, right now. I can speak several Indian languages, including Punjabi and Urdu, and have working knowledge of several other languages because I have traveled extensively in almost every part of my country during my marketing job, but I can only read and write English and Hindi fluently.

I have written in multiple languages on this website, including English, Hindi, and Spanish, but my Spanish writing is only a translation job that I do through DeepL or Google Translate, which I originally wrote in English. Let me make it clear that I face no problem reading different languages because I have set my browser to translate different languages.

My key stats about my own SP, CSI, reputation, and delegations

Screenshot (1815).png

My reputation is 75.06 and I have over 23,500 SP of my own, which have mostly come through my rewards. My voting CSI remains over 15, but if it ever goes down, I immediately take action to maintain it.

Please note that if you see a small outage of Steem from my wallet, I have used it as a reward for my contestants.

I have delegated a small part of my SP to various communities, but I have enough SP to vote for worthy users.

Any subject you particularly enjoy curating

I have nothing special in mind, but I prefer literature, fiction, and articles about management, although I would love to see more about technology, metals, and metallurgy. Current affairs is one of my favorite topics, besides stories in different niches.

I would love to read more about lifestyle, health, and contests. By the way, I had very little interest in the diary section, but I now love to write and read creative diaries with a theme, so I am concentrating on diary posts. However, I aim to support the best posts and not the big names, whatever country or community they come from.

I am open to whatever team I am inducted into, including the newcomers' community, because that will give me a chance to support worthy newcomers with talent.

The minimum team size I would be willing to serve

I have no choice in that since I know that the current trend is four members per team, and I am with the rules set by the site management. So I have no choice whatsoever in this matter.

Finally, I can assure the management that if I am given this opportunity, I will carry out my work with all my might and responsibility and do the job with my best efforts and honesty.

Thank you,

My best regards

Even though I don't know much, this is the best for the community, I have also invited several friends to join, their reasons are almost the same, But I don't care what they say, in fact I believe and believe that one day the @dream steem community will be the same as other communities. Thanks to the hard work of admins and moderators it will definitely be successful. We support each other and believe that the future will progress. I can only say thank you and good luck, cheer up friend

Thank you and if you feel we are doing it to be like others, you're wrong. We will remain the same as @weisser-rabe said with all options open for freelancers and the ones in need of our support.

Sorry, I mean getting full support from steemit and booming support, and I believe dream steem supports all members,

Your trust honours us! The only thing that remains for me to say is that we try to avoid exactly that: becoming too similar to other Communities... ;-))

Is it that time again...? How time flies. Of course you'll carry on! I wish you every success and a lucky hand in choosing your favourites!
