A great story for sure but a question here, how did that magical golden apple get the wrinkles? But at the same time, I appreciate your imagination power and accept that if it can't wrinkles it can't be eaten as well.
Fiction has the power to divert a story in any direction and that's the beauty of this genre.
Let's not get hung up on biology ;-))
