The month of August is once again one of those months where bad news piles up and the need is sometimes really great.

In addition to the ongoing charity campaign for @aplausos and the medical treatment of her son, there is another urgent situation in which we feel challenged: @dulcem05 is also worried about her son, himself the father of two sweet children, who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour.

We have already learnt a few things about the Venezuelan healthcare system - including the fact that you can't necessarily expect the best possible treatment if you are unable to raise a fortune for it.

In this case, things are a little different: Kervin Enrique found super dedicated doctors who began care immediately due to the urgency of the immediate therapy. The family now faces the prospect of having to pay off immense debts. This is unlikely to help the seriously ill patient's recovery or relieve the burden on his relatives…

The wave of willingness to help is already building up: we also want to contribute our mite again. In three days, @dulcem05 will receive the last 30 STEEM from our savings. She will also receive 10% Beneficiaries on all contributions from my private and the Community and Charity Accounts of the Dream Steem Community until the end of the month. A small drop that hopefully contributes something to the helpful big waterfall.

Der Monat August ist wieder einer von denen, wo sich schlechte Nachrichten häufen und die Not teilweise wirklich groß ist.

Neben der weiter laufenden Charity Aktion für @aplausos und die medizinische Behandlung ihres Sohnes gibt es eine weitere dringende Situation, in der wir uns gefordert fühlen: @dulcem05 hat ebenfalls Angst um ihren Sohn, seinerseits Vater zweier süßer Kinder, bei dem ein bösartiger Hirntumor festgestellt wurde.

Über das venezolanische Gesundheitswesen haben wir schon einiges gelernt – u.a., daß man nicht unbedingt mit der bestmöglichen Behandlung rechnen kann, wenn man nicht in der Lage ist, ein Vermögen dafür aufzubringen.

In diesem Fall sieht es etwas anders aus: Kervin Enrique hat super engagierte Ärzte gefunden, die wegen der Dringlichkeit der sofortigen Therapie die Versorgung umgehend begannen. Die Familie steht jetzt vor der Aussicht, immense Schulden abbezahlen zu müssen. Der Genesung des Schwerkranken und der Entlastung der betroffenen Verwandten dürfte das nicht dienen…

Die Welle der Hilfsbereitschaft ist bereits dabei, sich aufzutürmen: auch wir wollen wieder unser Scherflein beisteuern. In drei Tagen wird @dulcem05 die letzten 30 STEEM aus unserem Ersparten erhalten. Außerdem wird sie bis Ende des Monats mit 10% Beneficiaries an allen Beiträgen von meinem privaten und den Community sowie Charity Accounts der Dream Steem Community bedacht werden. Ein kleiner Tropfen, der hoffentlich etwas zum hilfreichen großen Wasserfall beiträgt.

Alles erdenklich Gute für Deinen Sohn und die ganze Familie; Ihr werdet hoffentlich noch stärker durch diese Herausforderung!
