What a dilemma for the puppy. It is sad when we feel so bad because of a virus, and we think that our companions in life are not attacked by viruses in the same way.
It must feel so bad, just as we humans feel dying when we get a virus, fever, muscle pain, watery vision, and much more.
Hopefully, those of us who have pets at home think of them more as little animals that are so susceptible to illnesses than as companions who never get sick because of our own fault.
