Exactly - not the most friendliest thing to do.

It is strange Romanians do not complain more about it - I know many of them drive to Greece (passing Bulgaria or staying in it) for their summer vacations/holidays with their cars so paying for waiting... really sucks. No waiting at the Greek/Bulgarian border since we joined Schengen though.

For a moment I thought how hilarious it would be if there were such boots with people collecting entrance fees on the bridges connecting Switzerland and Lichtenstein, for instance :D.

Probably, instead of those huge "Welcome" banners, they should put "Let's not forget communism", as those fees were implemented back then...
