It's weekend, Mary and her three best friends has made plans to go visit the beach and probably stay for two weeks over there. Mary who was so excited about their reunion couldn't wait for Friday already, she hasn't seen them for 3 years since they graduated from college.

It was Friday already and Tina and Precious were already waiting for Mary in the boat so they can depart. Few minutes later, Mary was seen coming towards them with a broad smile. They both bullied her for always not being punctual for special occasions.

"I'm so sorry my angels, I don't think anyone is so happy that we finally reunited like I do. I've been dreaming of this day and yeah! I bought something for y'all" Mary said. She brought out two sweetened popcorn and shared between them both. Tina smirked at Mary and told her she's planning to kill them with diabetes before they get to the island and they all laughed over it. The boat started and Precious was the skipper. She sailed the boat smoothly on the sea. They sang so loud that the birds began to chirp. They looked extremely happy. Tina got tired of her pop corn and threw it into the sea, they all watched as the fishes swam to eat it all. It was great to watch.

They finally arrived at their destination and they all alighted the boat. Mary stayed behind to tie the boat to a dock. She turned around and barged into Simon who has been admiring her for a minute. He intentionally made her run into him. She apologized to him and he told her it's nothing. "I've never seen a young girl as beautiful as you are on this island for some time now" Simon said with an unending smile. Mary who was so shy to speak ran away from him to meet her friends in the restaurant.

Precious noticed that Mary couldn't stop smiling, she called on Tina's attention and they both pressured her to speak up. "Well, I met a young man and he said really nice things to me, I couldn't stand it so I ran away". Tina told Mary that they've not even settled down properly and she has seen the love of her life already. The restaurant owner walked in and greeted them. He knows everyone who lives on that island so he recognises a new face or a stranger. . They thanked everyone in the restaurant for being so welcoming while they left for their various rooms.

One morning, Mary stepped out to take a walk. She heard a deep voice saying "Hello", she raised her head and saw that it was Simon. He told her that she's not going to run away like the last time because he's prepared to run after her. Mary laughed so hard as he made her feel even more comfortable around him. "I've been watching you for close to a week now and I'm falling for you. There's no night that I don't get to think about you" Simon said". Mary told him that she has been feeling same way till her friends even got to notice.

"I'm so lucky to meet you here because the sea will be bearing witness to the love we share", he smiled and kissed Mary on her forehead. A not-so-happy woman was walking past them, she told them that love only kills, it doesn't save. Simon stared at Mary who was looking already scared and told her not to listen because the woman seemed damaged already.

He took her to his best friend who is a salesman. Charles is more than a best friend to Simon so they sometimes call themselves brothers. He bought a pearl shell necklace and told her not to lose it. Simon and Charles have been on that island for years selling jewelries. They were making huge profits so they stayed back.

Simon and his beautiful lover kept hanging out everyday until one day, he noticed Mary wasn't wearing the necklace he got her. He became so infuriated that he walked away from her. She cried that night and even fell sick because she couldn't find it anywhere. Tina has stolen it. She was telling Precious about how she stole it from Mary because she wasn't feeling good about her friend being with some strange guy. Precious knew that Tina was just envious of them so she told Mary about it the next day.

It was a sunny day, Tina was already packing her bags because it's almost two weeks, they planned on staying for just two weeks. Mary confronted her and Tina angrily destroyed the necklace instead of giving it to her. Mary ran looking for Simon and she was told by some kids of his whereabouts. She hugged Simon from the back and he held her and moved her away from him. "You've always been a happy man ever since I knew you, it's so sad to know that you look at me differently now".

Mary told him that she has something to show him and pleaded that he followed her. She took him to the boat and untied it. He asked her where he was taking her to and she kept mute till she drove them both far from the island. She told him that she's leaving. "Are you crazy? You left your friends just so you could please your selfish self, how are they going to leave the island?I also have a business to manage". Simon screamed at her. She told him that she doesn't care and Tina was responsible for their conflict. "Everything is fair in love and war, I'll do anything for us, Mary said".
