The thing about our parents is that they always think they know what is best for us and always want to use canes or whips to correct us… forgetting the psychological damage it has on kids..

Yes, it is the old fashioned way. We separated ways, I heard my father died which saves me answering the question if I would beat him to death if he is vulnerable and depends on others. I hope he has fun in heaven and am relieved he will never be able to put my children in danger.
No need to be sorry, I am one out of thousands of children who survived. To me those two people were the best example of how I never want to be as a parent.
