Poetry can be interpreted in many ways. And I like the way you approach it. It's true that "illusion," like "faith," "makes us believe in or think about a better life than the one we have."
Autumn symbolizes "introspection" and the need to "let go of the past." I used the word in both senses.

La poesía puede interpretarse de muchas maneras. Y me gusta la manera cómo te acercas a ella. Es verdad que la "ilusión" es como la "fe" "nos hace creer o pensar en una vida mejor a la existente".
