Self-estimation and self-respect is very important, indeed.
But it has to be "recalibrated" against
- my estimation and my respect of others and against
- the estimation given to me by others.
Otherwise, there would be no limit for the hybris of narcists.
Narcissists come up in many shapes and we have to up date our knowldge about them.
