God's Miracle
Angel, that's my name. My father said I'm a special child, my mother said I'm different from the others. But that difference always makes me wonder, why did I have to be born into this world? I'm tired enough carrying the burden of my life. Luckily I have parents who are patient in taking care of me.
When in class, all my friends teased me. Tears began to wet my cheeks. Suddenly a man from behind pushed my wheelchair to my seat. It turned out to be Ivan. Ivan is my best friend, in class he is the only one who is kind to me.
Ivan and I attended class as usual.
After the lesson ended, I went home. Dad was waiting for me.
“How is Angel’s school?” Dad asked
I didn’t answer Dad’s words, Dad carried me into the car, then my wheelchair was folded and put in the car.
While in the car I asked Dad “Dad, when will I be able to walk like a normal person?” I asked Dad
“Angel, everything has its time, God already has a beautiful plan for your life. Believe me and keep praying” Dad answered me.
When I got home Dad carried me to my room. In my room I prayed to God “God, Angel really wants to be like Angel’s other friends. Angel is tired of living like this, Angel has a lot of burdens, O God, Angel just wants to be able to walk. This is Angel’s only request, Amen”
After I finished praying I remembered what happened at school, every day my friends always made fun of me.
While in my room I could only shed tears.
I also sang the song Tuhan Pasti Sanggup.
“God is definitely able, His hand is not too late to support me
God is still able, believe me He will not leave you”
Angel really sang from the heart. She also tried to walk with her cane.
“Why can my legs be lifted?” I asked while wiping away my tears
Slowly the cane was removed, Angel began to walk
“Can I walk? Thank you, God, Your miracles are always real for believers” I cried in my heart.
I also approached my father and mother in the living room.
“Dad, mom I can walk, all this is because of God, it is true what my father and mother said for God nothing is impossible” I cried to my father and mother.
My father and mother hugged me, then we sang the song For God Nothing Is Impossible. After we finished we prayed together.
