Hello, Dear Dreamers!

I apologise in advance for the fact that there is neither anything creative-fictional to read here nor the announcement of a contest. Nor is it about donations. Nevertheless, I hope you will take a moment, even if it seems boring: I have an information and an urgent request...:

One of my personal heroes on the Steem, @the-gorilla, gladdened our hearts a few days ago with his initiative to give the Steem a completely new front end, first of all visual and user-friendly.

There have often been loud and less loud cries for this, but they have gone unheard. The Gorilla is not just shouting along, he wants to DO it! He is a developer himself and has decided to realise this improvement.

There has been a facility on Steem for ages (which I only know about second-hand) called DAO Proposals. There, users can present their well thought-out proposals to the general public. These users, i.e. all users, can then vote on whether they welcome and support the proposal in question. With a vote, as you all know from "day-to-day business".

The special thing here is that it is not just the number of votes cast that is decisive, but the Vests behind these votes. Simplified: the sum of the own SP.

And now you come into play, as part of this large community: would you like to help the Gorilla's proposal to be implemented with your vote? If there really are as many of us as there sometimes seem to be, every single small vote alone can't achieve much, but the masses can! The power of the many... I'm sure you've heard of it ;-))

The thing is: such a change would not be made "from above", by a central authority. But from our midst with our consent. Have you ever thought of the Steem in this way? It could become reality!

Ich entschuldige mich schon vorab dafür, daß es hier weder etwas kreativ-fiktionales zu lesen gibt noch die Bekanntmachung eines Wettbewerbs. Es geht auch nicht um Spenden. Trotzdem hoffe ich, Ihr nehmt Euch einen Augenblick Zeit, auch wenn es langweilig erscheint: ich habe da nämlich eine Information und dringende Bitte…:

Einer meiner persönlichen Helden auf dem Steem, @the-gorilla, hat vor einigen Tagen unser Herz erfreut mit seiner Initiative, dem Steem ein komplett neues Frontend zu verschaffen, zunächst visuell und benutzerfreundlich.

Nun gab es schon oft laute und weniger laute Schreie danach, die aber ungehört verhallten. Der Gorilla schreit nun nicht einfach mit, sondern er will es TUN! Er ist selber Entwickler und hat sich vorgenommen, diese Verbesserung umzusetzen.

Es gibt auf dem Steem seit ewiger Zeit (über die ich selber auch nur aus zweiter Hand Bescheid weiß) eine Einrichtung namens DAO Proposals. Dort können User ihre durchdachten Vorschläge der Allgemeinheit vorstellen. Diese, also alle Nutzer, können dann darüber abstimmen, ob sie den entsprechenden Vorschlag begrüßen und unterstützen. Mit einem Vote, das kennt Ihr alle aus dem „Tagesgeschäft“.

Das Besondere ist nun hierbei, daß nicht die reine Anzahl der abgegeben Votes entscheidend ist, sondern die Vests, die hinter diesen Votes stehen. Vereinfacht: die Summe der eigenen SP.

Und nun kommt Ihr ins Spiel, als Teil dieser großen Communtiy: mögt Ihr dem Vorschlag vom Gorilla mit Eurem Vote zur Durchsetzung verhelfen? Wenn wir wirklich so viele sind, wie es teilweise scheint, kann zwar jede einzelne kleine Stimme allein nicht viel ausrichten, aber die Masse macht‘s! Die Kraft der Vielen… Habt Ihr sicher schon 'mal von gehört ;-))

Das Ding ist: eine solche Veränderung würde nicht „von oben“ vorgenommen werden, von einer zentralen Instanz. Sondern aus unserer Mitte heraus mit unserem Einverständnis. Habt Ihr den Steem schon einmal so gedacht? Es könnte Wirklichkeit werden!
