I think that sort of ‘betrayal’ is only possible when there’s a sense of entitlement or possessiveness within a relationship. If I generally accept that my partner doesn’t ‘belong’ to me, then there’s no reason to lie to each other or keep things hidden.
That's true, I have felt it before, not exactly cheated like that but betrayed and it's always a sense of possession
