We rarely stop to read a contract in its entirety or the fine print it contains, and even less so to analyze it when we are favored in a business deal that appears to be transparent.

I think even I, in that situation, would have been tempted by such a bargain. Who wouldn't? I imagine it's difficult to turn down an offer like that.

Example: When you subscribe and register for a web service or something similar, do you take the time to read the terms and conditions from start to finish? I don't, I hardly ever do, and I dare say that very few people do.

You’re right, most of the time things that look too good to be true are scams. It’s so rampant these days. I was almost scammed a few months ago after seeing some nice, cheap meat advertised on Facebook. The ridiculously low price made me forget all common sense, just like seeing a 90% off sale in a shop. I placed the order, and when the confirmation message popped up, it read RM 3000 instead of RM 50! I felt instantly jolted awake.
