Dungeon Princess Infinity Review

Dungeon Princess Infinity is a brand new EOS blockchain RPG based on very popular mobile game with the same title "Dungeon Princess", Infinity part is reserved for blockchain version. What makes this new game different is the blockchain part and blockchain items you can list on the game's marketplace. The game can be downloaded from google store, you only need to create Itam Store account for the blockchain part, you can play the game without EOS account though, if you happen to like the game and if you happen to find some valuable blockchain items you can consider connecting your EOS wallet with the game.

This game is easy to learn - hard to master type of game where you play as a team of warriors each packing 5 different abilities, you start with only 2 heroes and as you progress you can have 5 heroes beating countless number of dungeons. When you reach very late game you can have two teams, so there are 12 different heroes all together that you will unlock during your time with the game. Fair warning though, this game is a grindfest and will drain your battery very fast if you decide to go hardcore with it.

The part I like the most about this game is the hard to master part because there are countless sets of items with different stats tailored for specific heroes, in order to master it you will have to spend a lot of time learning the skills, learning which skills to level and learning which hero composition will work the best during three different game modes. Dungeon runs, Daily Dungeon or PvP combat.

Dungeon Runs are basically your bread and butter levels where you level up your characters and find better loot as you progress. In Daily Dungeon you can compete with the waves of enemies and if you happen to be higher on the leaderboards you will get more ingame currency. PvP combat will also reward you with ingame currency which you can use to buy many store items such as faster xp gain potion, faster action point recovery potion so you can cast your abilities more often. You can also buy item chests, so yes, it is another pay to win game, but you can find blockchain items without the need to go for pay to win aspects of the game.

This is Itam's second RPG and you can see they are learning how to manage blockchain items better in this game, in their first RPG Dark Town you could find endless number of blockchain items and list them making their price very low, in this game however, al least while it is young there are not many blockchain items that are dropping and that are worth to even list. Once you start to reach the endgame then it starts to get interesting, unique items will start to drop, and generally if you get 4 unique drops in one day, one can become a blockchain item. Those are listed on the market for 0.5 up to 5 EOS. Also the rarest kind of items are the level above uniques and those are not even found still, so the true late game economy is not even found yet.

All that wouldn't matter if the game isn't fun to play. This is game is fun to play not only because of the blockchain items, it is fun because there are some truly hard levels that you will not be able to beat if you don't pay attention to game's mechanics. This game has a potential to last you a very long time if you get drawn in, no wonder the base game had more than 200000 players, and that's without the blockchain part. I'm 2 weeks in this game and it is still very challenging to beat every new Dungeon. Score: 75/100!
